I am a big fan of BSNL, although not of their signal strength, but of their offers. And there is true saying about BSNL which clarifies its full form which says: Bhai Sahab Nai Lagega ( BSNL)... But still no matter what we say, there are places where only BSNL network is available. Anyways, I am not going to talk about their signal strength, but I am really happy by their recharge plans.
So to get your BSNL prepaid mobile recharge, mainly we have two options:
1. Recharge online.
2. Get it recharged from a authorized service center.
But the above two options don't give you any advantage in terms of money saving. For e.g. If you want to activate a GPRS plans which lets say is STV301( A plan for 6GB , 2G internet connection) , then you have to pay Rs. 301 in both the cases.
But here comes the third best option, which is to recharge it using the BSNL SMS service. This is how to use it.
If you want to know what are the available plans then you need to type the message as : HELP and send it to 52244. In reply, the system will return three to four plans which are currently going on.
If you want to activate any plan out of them , then send the number of the plan you wish to opt for out of three. In case you are not looking for those plans, reply m instead of 1 or 2 or 3 and system will return more plans.
Keep going like that until you get the plan which u want. The best part of this service is that it saves around 14 to 15% of your money. Like in case of above plan, you have to pay only Rs. 267 only which means saving of around 34 rupees and it is indeed a good saving.
Note: Before using the above option make sure you have the ample balance in your account to use this service as the amount will be deducted directly from your account. So always get the full talk time recharge and then by using above service keep activating different plans.
In case you are specifically looking for Voice plans then you need to send the message as : HELP VOICE to 52244.
If you are looking for data plans then you need to send the message as : HELP DATA2 for 2G plans and HELP DATA3 for 3G plans to 52244. If you start using this service, i am sure you are going to save a lot of money. And more big is the activation plan, more is the saving.
